LIVISTONIA CHINENSIS

This palm, also called "Chinese palm", is endemic to Asia, more precisely China and Japan, and belongs to the Arecaceae family. It is a slow-growing species that can reach 12 meters in height, it is characterized by having a single trunk with a base wider than the crown. Its leaves are large, fan-shaped, paddling, with hanging segments, which gives it a very striking and beautiful appearance. This plant can withstand 7 degrees below zero, it requires abundant risks. It gives an inflorescence that emerges from the leaves, covered with white flowers with a peculiar smell.

CARE FOR YOUR PALM TREES

- The ideal substrate for palm trees has to be rich in organic matter, a good worm humus, Compost or Manure would be enough.

- Irrigation, as the palm tree is on the ground and being more intense than in a pot, it can be one watering a week.
