ORIGIN AND CHARACTERISTICS

This cactus belongs to the Cactaceae family, it comes from North America and Central Africa. It is also known by the common name "Biznaga Metzolle".

It is a perennial cactus, spherical to columnar in shape, it has no ribs. Its body is cylindrical and does not reach great heights (it can reach up to 18 cm). It forms large colonies with globular stems and numerous children, made up of smaller specimens. It is green in color with spines covered with long woolly white hair.

The flowering season arrives in spring, small flowers are born that do not open due to their small size, so the thorns prevent them from opening completely.
